Thank you W.I.!

Together with colleagues from the School of Psychology at Keele University, the CoSI lab welcomed 45 lovely women from the Women’s Institute.

We had so much fun demonstrating our perspective-taking task to lovely participants! Thank you W.I.!

New paper on automatic belief tracking published in Cognition

Together with Dr Gaëlle Meert and Prof Dana Samson at Université catholique de Louvain, we published a new study showing that healthy adults automatically track others’ mental states when unnecessary and disadvantageous to their task at hand. Furthermore, the propensity to track others’ mental states is associated with empathetic tendencies.

New study on direct gaze

Our new paper on the cognitive effect of direct gaze is out in Psychonomics Bulletin & Review.

Here’s a blog post by Prof Melissa Vo where she talks about this research (Thanks Melissa for the beautiful writing!).
